Individualized Education Programs (IEP)

Students with disabilities who need special education services have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This plan details their interests, strengths, needs, goals, and educational programs. The plan also discusses how their disability impacts how well they do in school and their ability to learn from the regular curriculum. It's an important legal document that explains how the Department of Education (DOE) will make sure your child gets a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
