We’re excited to announce that our school is officially registered to participate in the 10th Anniversary of the NYC Disability Pride Parade — and we need volunteers to help make our school’s presence inspiring, organized, and joyful!

Date: Sunday, October 19, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Parade line-up begins at 10:00 AM)
Route: Madison Square Park Union Square

This year’s parade theme, "A Throwback Through Time," honors the history, advocacy, and cultural milestones of the disability rights movement — and we want our school community to shine!

Volunteer Committees – We Need You!

We’re inviting staff, students, and families to sign up for one or more of the following committees:

1. Cheerleader Committee
   Bring the energy! Help lead chants, cheers, and keep our group’s spirits high with signs, pom-poms, and positivity.

2. Creative & Decorations Committee
   Design and create banners, signs, costumes, and visual displays that reflect our assigned parade theme and era.

3. Logistics & Hospitality Committee
   Coordinate parade-day logistics, help manage materials, and support with organizing the school’s meeting spot and supplies.

4. Parent Committee
   We’re looking for parent leaders and caregivers to support outreach, coordination, and family engagement. This committee will help rally family participation, support communications, and bring a welcoming spirit to the school’s parade efforts!
